Hello!

My name is Geoff, and this site is all about me.

I’m a software engineer in New York City. I’m the creator of SWFObject*, a Javascript library for embedding Flash content. It’s one of the most widely used Javascript libraries on the internet. I also worked at YouTube for a few years, where I was the tech lead for the video player team.

I’m currently looking for fun projects to work on. If you have something fun you think I might like, please let me know.

* While I am the original author of SWFObject (née FlashObject), it is now maintained by a very skilled team of volunteers. See the SWFObject Github page for more details.
